2023 Rewa Sauvignon Blanc
A radiant expression of Sauvignon Blanc, this vintage opens with an intricate bouquet of white peach, crisp Granny Smith apples, and zesty lime. Delicate floral nuances of elderflower intertwine with wet river stone minerality and a hint of fresh herbs. The palate mirrors the aromatic finesse, layering in green papaya, sun-ripened kiwi, and a peppery hint of watercress. Bracing acidity and a supple texture weave seamlessly, culminating in a lingering, mouthwatering finish that invites another sip.
The fruit for this Coombsville, Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc was harvested by hand before dawn on September 25th, 2023. The clusters were whole-cluster pressed, then settled briefly before the juice was transferred to French Oak barrels for fermentation. The wine in those barrels sur-lie for approximately 6 months prior to bottling in August, 2023. A total of 400 cases were produced.
